What's with the cool names?
Everywhere you go now it's just all about cool names. Is it that we are too lazy? Or are the names too long? whatever the reason most of them are really fashionable.
Some people change their name to make it cool, like Sean John Combs uses "P Diddy,” Curtis Jackson uses "50 Cent," Moses Davis "Beenie Man" and Orville Richard Burrell "Shaggy."
Other people drop one of their names or shorten both. There is Oprah Winfrey "Oprah," Beyonce Knowles "Beyonce," Robert NestaMarley "Bob Marley," Kevin Federline "K-Fed," and Britney Spearswho is just "Brit"
In Jamaica even Prime Minister Bruce Golding has one ofthose "with-it" names, he is called "The Driver," and his finance minister Audley Shaw is "Man a Yard." These weregiven to them by the Jamaican people and they gladly accept.
This father and son share the same name so by using lettersto set them apart makes it trendy: George Walker Bush "George W," and his dad is George Herbert Walker Bush he is "George H.W."
Did you know that these neat names have been around forever? No! Well Abraham Lincolm the 18th president of the United States of America, was "Honest Abe." Very hip right?
Others were in groups like "The Rat Pack" with Sammy Davis Jr,
Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop
could also be seen as members of the that group.
This other hip name that I'm about to introduce really rocks,
Oops! I almost give it away. It needs no addition or subtraction, it's just cool for no reason.
Can you guess to whom it belongs? Yes, you guessed right,
no other than the 44th President of the United States
of America. Barack Obama!!
Now from the fast food store to the banks, everywhere it's
all about cool names. It's no longer Kentucky Fried Chicken
it's K.F.C, or the bank of Montreal, BMO. Whatever the
reason they are stylish names and they are here to stay.
