Usain Bolt for OJ

The world fastest man is to be awarded the fourth-highest honor of our nation, the Order of Jamaica. Prime Minister Bruce Golding announced on September 15th, this will make Bolt the youngest ever to receive such an award.

The Prime minister said when this award is presented to the 100 and 200 meter world record holder he would be referred to as "The Honorable" Mr Bolt. How cool is that!

In addition to that, the PM say in recognizing the outstanding record breaking performance by usain, at both the Olympic in Beijing China, and the astonishing run at the World Athletic Championship in Berlin Germany.

Highway 2000 will be renamed after the world greatest sprinter.

The prime minister also paid tribute to all the athletes who represented the country at the world championships, with distinction.

He however singled out Brigitte Foster-Hilton for taking home gold in the 100 meter hurdle at that event.

Danny McFarlane the 400 meters hurdler was praised for the highest number of appearances at the world championship nine times paralleled that of race walker Tim Barrett.

Unusual Present - A Piece Of The Berlin Wall?

Berlin Germany honored Usain Bolt by giving him a piece of the Berlin Wall 12-feet high and 2.7 metric ton. Wow! That's huge, unheard of, 'if you will.'

It will be delivered to Bolt training camp in Jamaica by a special company.

The piece of wall will be decorated with a life-size painting of Bolt running on the blue track of the Olympic stadium with thewords "New WR'- new world record. Bolt said "I will never forget Berlin.

Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit said "Bolt had shown that one can tear down walls that had been considered as insurmountable."

With the IAAF World Championship in Berlin Germany now come to a close on Sunday August 23th-2009, Jamaica bag a silver in the final race the woman's 4x400m relay.
